"Ildjarn’s second release features more thump on the drums and a bit more production value, but it’s still raw enough for the pickiest of black metal mongrels. Strength And Anger is built of fifteen portions, followed by two meditations and a bit of a heavy interlude in between them. The drums are still as fuzzy as always, but you can actually feel them a bit thicker on the album which sort of brings out a bit of primordial rage in me. The album seems a bit barbaric, which is great for getting out a bucket load of stress these days, without winding up on the evening news..."
